Jogeshwari Misal marked this Diwali with three relief drives—two in flood‑hit districts and one at our home base in Kesnand—supporting families with Diwali essentials and groceries across Maharashtra.
Led by directors Sachin Hargude and Nitin Hargude, the initiative upheld our pledge to “light a lamp of joy in homes facing hardship.

Diwali relief drive

When we bring a smile to someone’s face, our own Diwali shines brighterWe organized two distribution events in flood‑affected regions and a third at our native place, where our home branch operates in Kesnand near Pune.
The effort focused on immediate, practical support so families could celebrate Diwali with dignity despite recent floods

Families received Diwali gift kits and grocery support, with the Solapur distribution focused on complete ration parcels suited to local needs Statewide, we set out to reach 1,000 families during this Diwali phase, aligning on‑ground plans with our public commitment. Across Beed and Dharashiv, the assistance value was pegged at ₹25,00,000, reflecting our intent to respond quickly and at scale

Voices from the team

This year’s Diwali is not just a festival; it is a celebration of humanity,” read our message as we announced the initiative, underscoring the spirit behind the drives. We chose action over celebration, reshaping birthdays and gatherings into service for those who needed it most. As a brand rooted in Kesanand’s gaavran food culture, we believe festive joy grows when shared with neighbors in pain.
